The Premier Travel Inn (Timber Beach Road) is a 250 metres walk from the course venue (it is next to Springs Gym on the BIC location map). Meals are available at the adjoining “Old Orleans” American style diner.
The Premier Travel Inn (Wessington Brewster’s) is a 5-minute drive from the course venue. It is situated at the intersection of the A19 and A1231. Meals are available at the adjoining “Brewster’s” Bar/Restaurant.
The Travel Lodge is situated in Sunderland city centre and close to many shops, bars and restaurants. It is a 5-15 minute drive across the river depending on traffic.
The Quality Hotel has leisure facilities and is approximately a 10-minute drive from the course venue, north to Boldon Colliery via the A19. There is an Asda Superstore, Frankie & Bennie’s Restaurant and a Multiplex Cinema nearby.
The Tavistock Roker Hotel is a landmark Victorian building, designed by renowned architect John Dobson in 1842. It retains many period features but has recently been refurbished to a 3-star standard. Located north of the centre of Sunderland, the hotel has two restaurants, (Italian and Thai-Chinese), and a late bar, all of which are open to both residents and non-residents. It is situated on the seafront and is approximately a 15 minute drive from the course venue.
The Seaburn Mariott is Sunderland's only four star hotel and is located on the seafront overlooking the sandy beaches at Seaburn, two miles north of the city centre. It is a full-service hotel offering modern, high quality luxurious accommodation. Relax by the pool, enjoy a soothing spa bath, or work out in the gym. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink and watch the boats go by before dining in the Promenade Restaurant, which serves British and International fare. It is approximately 15 - 18 minutes drive from the course venue.
The 2-star Campanile HOTEL-RESTAURANT Washington-New Castle upon Tyne has all the advantages for a stopover or a visit to the region, there is a bar, terrace and restaurant with WiFi access. Accessible from the A1M, junction 64, 18 km from Newcastle airport, it is an ideal stopover for work and leisure alike. It is approximately 15-20 minutes drive from the course venue.
The Balmoral Guest House offers a competitive B&B rate and is a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic from the course venue.
