Elcas Training

IQMS are a training provider approved by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as a Learning Provider for the ELCAS initiative, approval number 3468.

The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces.

The MOD initiative, known as the ELC Scheme, was created to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces through the intermediaries of ELCAS training providers such as IQMS. The MOD is willing to provide financial support through the ELC scheme allowing for a single up-front payment in each financial year up to a maximum of three separate years.

Whilst ELCAS funding is not available at the moment for these training courses we can offer delegates an ELCAS funded place on our ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor course plus a 1 day Foundation Course in any of the other topics free of charge.

The core subjects and key skills of auditing are very similar in all of the Lead Auditor courses, therefore you will learn how to audit to the requirements of an International Management System Standard (in this case ISO 9001:2008) and in addition you will learn the requirements of your chosen second Standard, e.g. OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, etc. thereby giving you the skills and knowledge to audit to two International Standards.
