This course will provide delegates with details of the content of the Standard in terms of the protocol and the requirements. This includes BRC Auditing Methodology and events during and after the audit.

2 Days, 09.30 – 17.00 each day

Prior Knowledge
A good technical knowledge of the packaging
industry is essential, and delegates are expected to have read and reviewed a copy of the BRCGS for Packaging
& Packaging Materials Issue 6 prior to attending the course. The standard is available from the BRCGS Bookshop
Delegates will learn how
audits against the Standard operate including preparation, the audit,
non-conformities, corrective actions and certificate issue.

• Understand the background and benefits of the Standard
• Understand the Standard in terms of the Protocol and Requirements
• Understand the detail of the Scheme
• Understand audit planning and the events during and after the audit
• Understand current compliance monitoring of Certification Bodies by the BRC

Certification
Delegates successfully completing an optional
on-line multi-choice exam (taken at the end of the course) will be awarded a
BRC Certificate issued by the BRC. If
the course exam is to be taken, an internet enabled laptop or devise is
required. If the exam is not taken, then
an attendance certificate will be awarded by the BRC.
